Sealing: Reseal the bag immediately after use, ensuring an airtight seal with cable ties or heat sealing. For silage fermentation bags, maintain anaerobic conditions by retightening the seal immediately after retrieving feed to prevent secondary contamination.
Load-bearing and Protection: Do not overload stacks, and protect against punctures from sharp objects. Transparent fermentation bags require an additional light-blocking layer or an outer woven bag to prevent UV damage to the fermentation environment and nutrient loss.
Hygiene and Safety: Reuse of feed additive packaging bags is strictly prohibited. Standard woven bags must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before reuse; heavily damaged bags should be discarded for recycling to eliminate the risk of cross-contamination.
Retrieval Protocol: Do not extract feed by "digging a hole" into the pile; instead, open the bag fully or remove feed in layers to minimize the surface area of remaining feed exposed to oxygen and reduce the duration of exposure.
